Accessibility statement
We aim to meet WCAG 2.2 AA. People contacting us are often stressed, tired or using a phone in difficult circumstances, so clarity matters more than decoration.
The site is designed so that you can:
- Navigate the whole site and the Get Help journey with a keyboard alone.
- See a clear visible focus outline on every interactive element.
- Use the site at 200% zoom and on small screens without loss of content.
- Read body text at a contrast ratio of at least 4.5:1.
- Use a screen reader with labelled form fields, grouped questions and live progress.
- Tap every control with a target of at least 44 by 44 pixels on mobile.
The Get Help journey uses one question or logical group per screen, keeps your answers when you go back, and never uses countdown timers or session pressure.
If something on this site is not accessible to you, tell us and we will fix it. You can also ask for the same information by phone.
